Kern Street Overpass Dogs

Saving two bonded dogs from homeless life.

About the project

Starting point

Saved from a basin near the overpass, Valley Fosters offered to hold them for 48 hours and when a solution was not found, we decided to foster them until a rescue or adopter was found.

Support from local communities

During our early kennel builds, Chico escaped his kennel to find Chica when she was taken to the vet. He was graciously recovered by a local friend of Valley Fosters, and they were moved to an indoor foster together.

End result

Chica was a foster fail, and has been spayed and is enjoying her new home in Clovis. Chico has a meet and greet with a wonderful prospective owner on 2/20/2024.
